Director General of the Arab Women Organization (AWO) Mervat Tallawy said Tuesday she will not accept her second mandate for the position of the director general.
These remarks were made during the 8th meeting of the AWO's Supreme Council, which was held in Cairo.
She also thanked President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Arab member states for their support during taking the office, saying that she exerted tremendous efforts to highlight the role of the Arab woman in the light of great challenges the region faces.
