Energy Minister Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza has patronised a celebration hosted by the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) marking Bahraini Women's Day. He praised the key role of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), under the leadership of its President Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King, in empowering women and further engaging them in the kingdom's development process.
He thanked the leadership for their incessant support to EWA, the Oil and Gas Authority, ministries and government bodies, wishing Bahrain more progress and prosperity.
The celebration was attended by EWA Chief Executive and his deputies, senior officials and the authority's female staff.
