Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, and members of the two councils today expressed resolve to fully support programmes, projects and plans of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW).
At a press conference following a meeting with HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King, SCW President, the Parliament members expressed their keenness to complete the legislation pertaining to the status of Bahraini women in order to assist in the fulfillment of the SCW vision to bolster a fair and equal partnership for Bahraini women, as a prerequisite for achieving sustainable development.
