Social Development Minister Dr. Fatima Al Blushi opened today the 4th non-government organisations (NGOs)' conference on exchanging experiences which was organised by the National Centre for Supporting the Non-government Organisations that is affiliated with the NGOs department at the Social Development Ministry.
The two-day conference is being held at the Ramee Grand Hotel and Spa at Seef District with the participation of national and international experts. It will bring under the spotlight key issues pertaining to continuous funding of NGOs and the need to boost the concept of partnership in designing, planning and implementing sustainable development programmes.
The event will also shed light on promoting self-funding and activating social responsibility between the public and private sectors so as to come up with effective financing strategies.
