Bahrain Businesswomen's Society (BBS) congratulated woman at Arab world mainly the Saudi women following the decision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on granting the Saudi women the right to vote, run in municipal elections and join the all-appointed Shura Council. BBS described the king’s decision as noble as it applies Islamic laws that protect women’s rights and dignity. BBS added that King’s Abdulla initiative marks an exceptional stage in the history of the kingdom adding that “these steps of reform affirm once again that the kingdom’s leadership is on the same level with its people’s aspirations.”
