FRANCE'S heavily pregnant First Lady Carla Bruni insists that Nicolas Sarkozy successfully wooed her with the help of his green fingers after they met at the end of 2007. In an interview with British radio she claims: "When I met him, walking around the garden in the Elysee Palace [the French presidential residence], he kept giving me all the flowers' names. He knows all the Latin names, all these details about tulips and roses." The model and pop singer, 43, pictured, adds: "I said to myself, 'My God, I must marry this man!" And indeed she did, in February 2008 after an 80-day romance. Isn't it refreshing to know that her decision had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that he was president of France?
