The Dubai Business Women Council is to host 'The Power Women of Arabia' debate in collaboration with LEADERS Middle East magazine, on October 28th.
The debate will bring together some of the most powerful women in business, government, philanthropy, culture and society to discuss issues related to women in leadership, empowerment, entrepreneurship, and the role of women in society.
The first two panels will be moderated by Becky Anderson, CNN anchor, and Dr. Essam Tamimi, founder of Tamimi and Co.
Commenting on the occasion Dr. Raja Al Gurg, President, Dubai Women Council, said, "This event aims at opening the dialog of women in leadership and their contributions to the socio-economic landscape in the region. The DBWC has put in place several initiatives towards empowering women in the Emirates, as well as supporting their journey as active members of society."
Panellists will include Dr. Raja Al Gurg, Lana Mamkegh, Jordan's Minister of Culture, Dr. Amina Al Rustamani CEO, TECOM Investments, and Sheikha Zain Al Sabah, Kuwaiti Minister of Youth.
