The Egyptian delegation, under the Head of the National Council for Women Maya Morsi, met with its Bahraini counterpart led by the Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) Hala al Ansari.
The two delegations take part in the 60th session of the United Nations (UN) Commission on the Status of Women held here.
The meeting was attended also by number of high-level Bahraini officials.
Morsi said that the get-together took up means of enhancing cooperation between the two nations in the woman-related fields as well as sharing points of view concerning to the issues discussed in the meeting of the UN commission.
The Egyptian delegation welcomed the joint cooperation especially in the domains of training and exchanging expertise.
