Egypt's Mufti Shawki Allam has issued a new book on Islamic jurisprudence for women.
In his new book, Allam answers some questions and gives fatwas about certain religious matters related to Muslim women, Darul-Ifta said Saturday in a statement.
The statement added the book was meant to get women more familiar with the religious issues on their own life, adding the book was edited on the basis of the frequent daily questions received by Darul-Ifta.
The new book concentrates on modern topics concerning women such as her political and financial rights and her vital role in building the society, the statement added.
