Under the patronage of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held today a ceremony marking the Bahraini Women’s Day.
The Minister said that the ministry has been committed to the empowerment of Bahraini women and equal opportunities, expressing his thanks to Her Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) for bestowing Her Highness’s Award for Bahraini Women Empowerment on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in recognition of its role as the second best official institution in supporting and empowering working women in its fourth session for 2014.
He extended sincere thanks to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' employees for their outstanding efforts.
