This year's International Children's Peace Prize was awarded to 18-year-old American girl, Neha Gupta on Tuesday in The Hague. Gupta, an American of Indian descent, has helped 25,000 vulnerable children through her own foundation Empower Orphans. What started as a local fund-raising campaign, grew into an organization that has now collected over 1.3 million U.S. dollars.
