The Israeli forces dispersed a peaceful march that kicked off from Qalandia Checkpoint to celebrate the International Women's Day (IWD).
The forces fired rubber bullets as well as gas and sound bombs to disperse the participants in the event, said Palestinian sources.
This led to the suffocation of dozens. Some of them were treated on spot, while 14 of them were rushed to hospital.
The participants in the march grouped about one thousand women and Palestinian political leaders.
Meanwhile, dozens of women organized a march and roamed Gaza city to celebrate the IWD that falls on March 8 .
