The Real co-host and fashion expert Jeannie Mai, 36, announced she won't remain on as a co-host for Miss USA.
Mai is the latest in a slew of celebrities to distance themselves from Donald Trump after his anti-immigration comments. The announcement comes a week after Mai had decided to continue on with the pageant.
The 36-year-old made the announcement via her Facebook page in a post detailing her choice to step away from the pageant. Mai wrote in her statement "At the time I made my decision to remain part of the Miss USA pageant, I was under the impression that Mr. Trump would no longer be involved in the production of the show in any capacity whatsoever."
Entertainment Tonight reported that the week before in an interview with them, Mai had said she was choosing to remain on board because of the women's hard work.
Mai said she felt remaining on would help project a positive message to the country and other women. Her departure comes after Cheryl Burke and Thomas Roberts opted out of the co-host position.
