Girl scouts play an integral role in supporting Kuwaiti society through their contribution to voluntary work, said Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education Bader Al-Furaih here Thursday.
Speaking at the 18th Annual Al-Salam Camp for Girl Scouts, the official called on the scouts to continue developing themselves and provide more to society.
Projects that are voluntary and social in nature require the involvement of young people, including girl scouts, said the official.
On her part, secretary for the girl scouts society Luluwa Al-Shatti affirmed that the society, which is organizing the camp, was keen on developing the social and leadership skills of the scouts in order for them to serve Kuwait in the future.
