Head of the National Council for Women (NCW) Ambassador Mervat Tallawy hailed a speech given by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi during the 69th session of the UN General Assembly.
Tallawy, who attended part of the UNGA meetings, added that Sisi's word on climate change had a positive effect on African countries which took part in the meetings, especially after defending Africa's stance and its right for development.
In statements Saturday, Tallawy added that Sisi's speech last Friday focused on terrorism, adding that he said that there are no difference between Daesh, al-Nusra Front or any other terror group.
Tallawy also reviewed the outcome of her meeting with the spouse of the Ethiopian president, who welcomed cooperation between the NCW in Egypt and its counterpart in Ethiopia.
