Head of the National Council for Women (NCW) Ambassador Mervat Tallawy said on Thursday that the council will hold a conference on January 20 under the rubric "She and terrorism".
The conference will focus on the Egyptian woman's role in protecting the Egyptian national security through teaching their children how to love their country and discard terror and violence, Tallawy said in a statement.
Also, the gathering is to touch on the impact of terror on woman and means of rallying society's efforts to combat terrorism, the ambassador added.
She stressed that the conference would be attended by a number of ministers, officials and a raft of specialists and experts as well as the NCW members nationwide.
