Branches of the National Council for Women (NCW) across the country will participate in the Suez Canal inauguration celebrations on Thursday, the NCW head said on Tuesday.
In statements Tuesday, Mervat Talawi said the NCW will organize seminars about the privileges of the New Suez Canal as well as marches to wander around the Suez governorate.
She said the whole world is keeping its eye on the inauguration of the New Suez Canal which embodies the historic achievement of the Egyptian people under a wise leader.
She said "Egyptians are sending a message to the world that they are steadfast and capable of realizing achievements and overcoming snags.
The New Suez Canal will give momentum to the Egyptian economy.
