President of the National Council (NCW) for Women Maya Morsi and United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) official Lilian Farah discussed on Sunday the conditions of Egyptian women and ways to empower them.
Morsi reviewed the national 2030 strategy for the empowerment of Egyptian women, which was developed by the NCW and endorsed by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi.
This strategy proves Egypt’s commitment to meeting the 2030 Sustainable Development goals concerning women’s empowerment, Morsi added.
Farah hailed the efforts of the NCW and the strategy to empower women.
The meeting was also attended by a number of members of the NCW.
