A Palestinian child was killed Wednesday in the northern Gaza Strip city of Beit Hanoun when a projectile left behind in Gaza Strip by the Israeli military during the offensive on the enclave.
The nine-year old boy was seriously injured by the blast before he died at Al-Shefaa Hospital in Gaza City.
Israeli warplanes and tanks attacked Gaza with thousands of explosives during the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Israel launched a 51-day war – that ended on August 26 – on the Gaza Strip, killing more than 2,000 people and injuring more than thousands others.
Israeli attacks also left thousands of Palestinian homes and government facilities either in total or partial destruction.
