Chinese President Xi Jinping's wife Peng Liyuan invited wives of leaders of some Asian countries and Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to the Capital Museum on Sunday.
Wives of Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid, Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj and SCO Secretary-General Dmitry Mezentsev joined Peng in visiting the museum's exhibitions on Beijing's history, ancient Chinese porcelain, traditional Chinese culture and folk arts.
They were greatly impressed by the displays and enjoyed friendly chat with museum staff.
Hamid, Elbegdorj and Mezentsev came here to attend a dialogue on strengthening connectivity partnership Saturday in Beijing, which was chaired by President Xi.
