Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) sent a cable of congratulations to the President of UAE General Women's Union (GWU) and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF) Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak on the first UAE Women’s Day which will be devoted to honouring women working in the armed forces this year, and marking GWU'd 40th anniversary.
HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa hailed Shaikha Fatima’s initiative of allocating a national day for the Emirati women and highly valued her continuing contributions and support, which, she said, is reflected through the success of Emirati women on all levels.
She expressed sincere congratulations to Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak and Emirati women on this national occasion.
She affirmed the keenness of Bahraini women on sharing these moments with the Emirati women and witnessing their progress, wishing Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak further success.
