Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women deputised Minister of Culture Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa to inaugurate here today the Jordanian Contemporary Art Exhibition, held in Al Riwaq Art Space until November 22nd, in collaboration with The Aisha Yateem Centre, Jordanian Embassy and Wadi Finan For Arts. All proceeds go to Aisha Yateem Centre.
Minister of Culture expressed her delight in hosting Jordanian art to embody the value of Jordan's artistic and cultural movement, affirming the importance of exchanging expertise with this ancient school.
Al Riwaq Art Space was founded in 1998 Al-Riwaq Art Space in order to promote and encourage creativity and artistic value through programmes that help to establish a strong connection between art and society. It has played a key role in training and nurturing local artistic talent, connecting Bahraini and international artists, and providing opportunities for collaboration and exchange through hosting local and international exhibitions, workshops, seminars and meetings.
