Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King, President of the Consultative Council of the National Initiative for Agricultural Development, has today honoured winners of the annual competition of the Bahrain Garden Club and Ministry of Education.
She crowned Amal Yusif Almoayyed and Madokht Kazarooni, co-winners of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa Cup in the Gardens Category.Amal Yusif Almoayyed has also swooped the Cup of late Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al-Khalifa in Flowers. Tariq Al-Jaberi and Sarra Madan have also won the same cup, respectively in the categories of Vegetables and Experimental Gardening Classes.
Dr. Ahmed Abdulla has won Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Cup in photography, while the Ministry of Education swooped the Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al-Khalifa Cup for best Environmentally Friendly Garden .
Amal Yusif Almoayyed was declared winner of Her Highness Shaikha Haya bint Mohamed Al Khalifa Cup, gaining most points in exotic plants. Student Fatima Suleiman, from Zubaida Primary School for Girls won the cartoon sticker competition which was organised by the Ministry of Education. Meanwhile, Ali Nawakhda, from Hamad Town Intermediate School for Boys, topped the handicraft excellence competition.
In the handicraft competition for students with special needs, Elyas Adel Yusif, from Al-Rawdha Primary School for Boys was declared winner, while Karrar Yunis Hubail, from Tubli Primary School, won the educational game competition.
In the Arabic Short Story competition, student Wala'a Abdul Hadi Al-Baqali from Jidhafs Secondary School for Girls was the winner. Student Jeelan Salim Ibrahim, from Ghazi Al-Gosaibi Secondary School for Girls, topped the food competition.
