Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), underscored the key role played by the Social Development Ministry in supporting the government's general policy to ensure social security and cohesion, public welfare and guarantee participation of all citizens in the development process.
She was speaking as she received today Social Development Minister Dr. Faeqa bint Saeed Al Saleh. HRH Princess Sabeeka underlined the need for coordination with SCW to serve Bahraini families, pointing out the council's constant readiness to back all efforts to cater for the needs of Bahraini women and achieve the principle of equal opportunities between men and women.
The Social Development Minister thanked HRH Princess Sabeeka for her unflinching support to women empowerment programmes which resulted in many achievements at all levels. She also expressed keenness on continuous constructive cooperation between the Social Development Ministry and SCW to achieve set up goals.
