Head of the parliamentary committee of Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security Sawsan Taqawi commended the official efforts to expand the green zone in Bahrain. She said she is keenly following up on the ongoing preparations for Bahrain International Gardens Show (BIGS) next year.
She described the directives of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and Chairperson of the Consultative Council of the National Agricultural Development Initiative, as the main incentive for the exhibition's success.
She called on public and private institutions to take part actively in the event, underlining the importance of training in honing the skills of the national cadres working in the agricultural sector.
