A Saudi woman has given birth to quadruplets after seven years of sterility, hospital sources in Riyadh said. “The mother and the quadruplets are doing fine,” Lateefa Al Mahmood, a consultant at the King Saud Medical City said. The mother is in her 30s and gave birth by a cesarean section, local Arabic daily Al Riyadh reported on Monday. “The mother had the quadruplets after seven years of sterility,” Haydar Al Sumaili, a consultant, said. “She had a normal delivery and an abortion in the past. The mother is fine now and so are the quadruplets who weigh between one and 1.2 kilogrammes.” From : Gulf News
