HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, the Chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF) inaugurated this evening the National Organ Transplant Program, at Fahad bin Jassim Center for Kidney of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). HH Sheikha Moza signed on an application form for organ donations as a sign of her fledged support to the campaign. Her Highness Sheikha Moza also met with a number of the patients and donors who are part of the program. Her Highness gave a speech on the occasion and said that the new program will campaign to encourage inhabitants of Qatar to sign up for organ donation. Her Highness added that the goal of the State of Qatar was to achieve self-sufficiency in the field of Organ transplant. The program will also raise awareness on the issue with the aim of increasing the number of organ donors in the State of Qatar.
