Investigators in Fallbrook, Calif., are trying to determine if a woman found dead in the backyard of a home was killed by the dogs she was caring for. The body of the 30-year-old woman was found Sunday by her cousin who had come to the home to check on her, KSWB-TV, San Diego, reported Monday. A group of eight Olde English Bulldogges was found loose in the yard, said Sgt. Brian Jenkins. The woman had been house-sitting while the owners were out of town, Jenkins said. Sgt. Victor Perry said the woman's injuries were "consistent" with dog bites, adding that an autopsy would determine the cause of death. Animal control officers secured the dogs and impounded them. The woman's name was not released pending the notification of relatives.
