A Russian woman who disappeared while hunting in the Siberian wilderness was rescued from a hunter's hut where she was trapped by snowdrifts, officials said. Galina Sinelnikova, who is in her 40s, went hunting on Dec. 8 in Altai Republic's Turochaksk District. She wasn't reported missing until Jan. 31, RIA Novosti reported Wednesday. Altai police said the search was hampered by severe cold but Sinelnikova was located Sunday by rescuers. Freezing weather has gripped central Europe and even Siberia is struggling with unusually cold temperatures that have fallen as low as minus-40 F At least 64 people died of hypothermia across Russia last month, health officials said.
