A fake mole that fell off as she was being questioned at the immigrations desk gave away a human trafficking victim at Manila's Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). Bureau of Immigration Commissioner Ricardo David said a female passenger attempted to board a Philippine Airlines flight to Singapore last last February 16 by passing herself off as the person depicted in the passport she presented to an immigration officer at the NAIA. Bureau of Immigrations airport operations division acting chief Benito Se said the passenger was lining up at the immigration departure counter when she was suddenly invited for further questioning. Se said immigration authorities became suspicious as the woman was reportedly travelling as a tourist, but had no hotel reservation and could not explain her purpose in going to Singapore.
