London - Arabstoday

Two-thirds of working women believe they can "have it all" by balancing a career with having enough time to spend with their family. The work-life balance is the biggest factor for women being happy at work and more important than promotion or even a generous salary, according to a survey. Ngaire Moyes, of the professional online networking site LinkedIn, which conducted the survey, said that the number of women who consider a high salary as an indicator of success has fallen 13 percent in the last decade. But 40 percent of working women said that juggling family life is still their biggest challenge. Three-quarters (76 percent) said that the one thing they wish for is more flexible working. This rises to 87 percent in London, the daily Express reported. The number of women who consider a high salary as an indicator of success has fallen 13 per cent in the last decade. The call for more flexible working was echoed internationally by 9 out of every 10 of the 5,000 women questioned by LinkedIn. Employers who allow staff to work part-time or from home were hailed as the most important factor in determining the "success of the next generation of professional women." From : ANI
