Make-up trend: natural make-up look with beautiful skin. A fresh make-up look with a marine touch. The newest make-up trend for 2012? A flawless but natural skin. A light foundation that enhances the skin is a key beauty product for the next season. Mariko Tagayashi, M.A.C senior make-up artist Japan, tells us more about it backstage at the the Shida Tatsuya SS 2012 fashion show in Tokyo. Just read the interview and get inspiration from the gallery of pictures below. Where did the idea for the make-up look for the Shida Tatsuya fashion show come from? The inspiration for this catwalk show is a marine look in a typical Shida Tatsuya way. The idea is that of a girl who goes on a trip all by herself. She grabs some clothes and other things and off she goes: on vacation. Without bothering too much about her make-up. So the skin is very natural and does not show the products that are used to enhance it. I chose for M.A.C Matchmaster SPF 15 Foundation which is very light and sheer. Matchmaster is based on a new foundation technology using translucent pigments to enable a fully personalized finish influenced by the subtleties of the own skin's undertone. With the focus on the skin I just chose some mascara for the eyes and tapped bright pink lipstick on the lips.
