Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, received yesterday Susan Pointer, Google Inc's Senior Director of Public Policy and Government Relations for Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa and Russia, to discuss prospects of cooperation between the Government of Abu Dhabi and Google in areas of digital technology and transfer of knowledge regarding ICT.
Sheikh Hazza wished Pointer success during her visit to the UAE.
Pointer expressed Google's sincere desire to expand cooperation and partnership with Abu Dhabi. She also commended the progress the UAE has made in ICT infrastructure and knowledge acquisition in that respect.
Present at the meeting were Rashed Lahej Al Mansoori, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Systems & Information Centre (ADSIC), Saif Ahmed Al Muhairi, Director of Office of the Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Fahad Mattar Al Neyadi, Director of Government Communication Office, General Secretariat of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi, Khaled Kouba, Public Policy & Government Relations Manager MENA at Google, and Sam Blatteis, Google Head of Government Relations and Public Policy, Gulf Countries.
