Assistant undersecretary for legal affairs, Brig. Mohammed Rashid Buhamood, today patronized the second Scientific Day entitled "Cyber Crimes in Knowledge and Information Society" held by the Royal Academy of Police (RAP) in coordination with the Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security Directorate of Interior Ministry and Ifta' and Legislation Authority.
300 participants from Interior Ministry's staff and RAP’s cadets attended the session, during which Commander of Security Research, Colonel Musa Isa Al-Dossairi, highlighted the RAP's keenness to disseminate science and knowledge through holding the Scientific Day once a month.
He stressed that the sessions aim to accentuate the role of science and its importance in preparing modern policemen, in addition to employing knowledge and information in the human development and orienting future generations toward the right path.
