The eldest son of Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili set a new Guinness iPad typing record Monday in the presence of a Guinness representative. Eduard Saakashvili, 15, completed typing the English alphabet from A to Z in 5.26 seconds, beating former record holder British Charlie Joseph McDonnel who taped the alphabet in 6.31 seconds on June 27, 2010. The record-setting event took place in the Justice House of Georgia's Black Sea resort of Batumi, with the presence of Guinness world record adjudicator Seyda Subasi Gemici, who issued the record certificate to the president's son. Eduard was not alone at the typing competition but he was the fastest to have set the record.
