The iPhone 6 outpaced the Android operated Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8 in a speed test, further dominating the market.
The test was performed and published by the website PhoneBuff, which opened apps and games as it timed how long it takes to get through the tasks.
The phones were all rebooted and put on the same WiFi network before being put through the exact same test. The iPhone completed the test in 1:55, much faster than the M8 at 2:09 and more than a minute faster than the Samsung Galaxy at 2:58. The Samsung had to reload several applications during the second phase of the multitasking test.
A PhoneArena test showed the iPhone was slightly slower than the Samsung opening third-party apps like Facebook, Twitter and Spotify, but were quicker opening up native software.
The iPhone 6 has seen record sales despite certain reported issues like the phone bending when people sat down with it in their back pocket. Despite this, It remains on top of the market above its Android competitors.
