Kuwaiti inventor Mohammad Behbahani was honored by the Council of Saudi Chambers for winning first place in the 2nd Gulf campaign for the "GCC Inventors 2014," held recently in Riyadh.
Behbahani also won first place for his "portable armrest for seating" invention in a competition held at the Kuwait Science Club two weeks ago.
Upon his return from Saudi Arabia, Behbahani told KUNA, on Thursday, that providing competitive atmosphere to Arab inventors would only motivate them to do more and encourage them to express their creative ideas through practical inventions that could be put to use in day-to-day life.
"GCC Inventors 2014" was held under the patronage of Secretary General of the GCC Abdullatif Al-Zayani.
The Award aimed at helping the youth to realize their aspirations by organizing events, workshops, meetings, training courses, and interaction with their international counterparts.
