Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja received at his office here today Mohammed Judah, Managing Director of Google Global and Abdurrahman Tarabzoni, Manager of Google in the Arab Region, who briefed on the stages of the launch of channels of the Holy Quran and Sunnah on YouTube at the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan. Dr. Khoja said that the meeting reviewed ways of developing the relationship with Google to serve Islam, Muslims and the Saudi media in particular. Minister of Culture and Information also stressed that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Crown Prince and Second Deputy Premier are keen to access the broadcast of channels of the Holy Quran and Sunnah to Muslims around the world through all means of technology. For its part, the Google team praised the quick response of the Ministry of Culture and Information for the launch of these two channels on YouTube, where the Saudi TV is the first Arabian television provides such service on YouTube.
