Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal has received Sunday in Algiers a delegation of the French Academy of Sciences and Algerian researchers settled abroad, said the Prime Minister Office in a communiqué.
The delegation is on working visit to Algeria as part of the process aiming at creating an academy of sciences and technology in Algeria.
The audience allowed assessing the progress made in this project, the source said.
During the meeting, the Premier underlined the Algerian State's effort to create to necessary conditions and most favourable environment for the rapid achievement of the project, the source added.
The audience was attended by Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mohamed Mebarki.
