H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah has issued Emiri Decree No. 38 for 2016 on the establishment of the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park, SRTIP.
According to the Decree, the Park will have many tasks, including providing a conducive environment for innovation, promoting and encouraging creativity, supporting applied scientific and technology research, nurturing talent in the fields of science and technology, setting regulations to promote research among businesses and proposing regulations to encourage students to launch their own projects.
The Decree shall be effective from the date of issuance and is to be published in the Official Gazette.
