His Majesty the King's Advisor for Youth and Sport Affairs Saleh Essa bin Hindi opened on behalf of Shura Council member and Goodwill Ambassador Mounira bint Essa bin Hindi a training session on using the iPad in teaching the blind.
He pointed out that the event, which was held at Golden Tulip Hotel marking the World White Cane Day, will contribute to providing varied services and cutting-edge solutions pertaining to e-learning for the blind in order to further integrate them as active members in the society.
He said the session will help provide quality education for the blind through the use of technology which has become a part and parcel of the working life.
