The Revolution doesn't get you into the multiplex, but it does have a built-in link to Netflix, the popular service that delivers streaming films and television shows. What's the big deal, you might ask. Any iPhone or Android phone can download and install the Netflix app. That's true, but the Revolution runs on Verizon's new 4G network, which means movies download faster and play with fewer hiccups. The Revolution loaded my Netflix queue in 15 seconds - less than half the time it takes on my 3G network phone. Note to Googlephobes: The Revolution comes with the Bing search engine and Microsoft maps pre-loaded. It also has front- and rear-facing cameras, HD video recording and Verizon's Mobile Hotspot option for Wi-Fi sharing. The phone costs $250 with a new two-year Verizon contract.
