Sprint has yet another smartphone from newcomer ZTE, and this time around, it would be the ZTE Fury that would fill in the shoes and join the rest of the Android-powered devices from Sprint. This will be a family-friendly smartphone that will have its fair share of features that will not disappoint, and since it is a smartphone, obviously it ought to come with a bunch of truly unlimited data pricing plans to maximize its use. From March 11th onwards, the ZTE Fury can be yours for a mere $19.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate, and of course, agreeing to a new 2-year contract. A phone cheaper than a meal at a fancy restaurant, and yet does not skimp on features? Let me tell you more about it after the jump. Don’t let the extremely affordable price point put you off – this is definitely value for money, as the ZTE Fury will not shortchange you if you are looking for enough apps to keep your smartphone experience going. It will feature a slew of apps as well as functionality that anyone could want, whether you are a busy adult or a child. I know that many smartphones these days have already broken the 4″ display size barrier as the norm, but 3.5″ on the ZTE Fury should still be able to get the job done. Apart from that, there is also a 5-megapixel camera that ought to be able to capture memories on-the-go with crystal clear clarity, while LED flash brightens up any low light conditions. The ZTE Fury will also play nice with Sprint’s family services, where parents are provided with the relevant tools to encourage good habits and responsible phone use in their kids. This is definitely a family-ready device, with apps such as Sprint Family Locator that enables one to quickly and easily locate their family members on an interactive map, while being able to set up “safety checks” so that when their kids can arrive at a particular destination safe and sound, the parents will be notified. Of course, it will cost you $5 each month for this service that can locate up to a quartet of phones. Other features of the ZTE Fury include 3G hotspot functionality, a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8655 processor, 4GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes. Any takers?
