Samsung sees drop in tablet sales

Samsung Electronics Co., the world's largest smartphone maker, suffered a decline in sales of its tablets in the second quarter amid increased competition with smaller rivals, industry data showed Tuesday. The South Korean tech giant's tablet shipments reached 8.4 million in the April-June period, down from 9.1 million the previous quarter, according to the data by Strategy Analytics.
