The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said on Sunday the volume of foreign trade transactions hit 28 billion dollars since the liberalization of Egyptian pound and till April 10.
The CBE floated the Egyptian pound on November 3.
In a statement, deputy governor of CBE Tarek Fayed said the figure covers nine-billion-dollar Documentary letters of credit and 19-billion-dollar collection operations.
