A joint mission from the World Bank and the African Development Bank (AFDB) will pay a visit to Egypt by the end of September to hold consultations with officials at the Egyptian government on the most important decisions taken by the government to improve economic conditions in Egypt.
They will also discuss granting the second tranche of 1.5 billion dollars loan offered by the two banks that aims at helping state's efforts in implementing economic development plans, according to a statement issued by the Trade and Industry Ministry on Thursday.
The statement also said that Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Qabil and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr held an expanded meeting with officials at the WB and the AFDB.
The meeting took up efforts by the trade and industry ministry in developing the infrastructure of the industry sector in Egypt, added the statement.
