Iran's Red Crescent Society is due to conduct massive rescue and relief drills in the Persian Gulf on Monday.Red Crescent Public Relations Director Hossein Derakhshan told FNA that the drills will be staged to mark the 'Week of Reducing Natural Disasters Consequences'. The exercises will include drilling first aid, transferring the wounded to the coasts, practicing chopper rescue operations and using marine equipment and facilities, he added. The coastal rescue and relief teams are at the center of the drills. "The RC rapid reaction teams are currently conducting the main part of the coast and sea rescue and relief operations in both Iran's Southern and Northern provinces," he continued.
