Japan's crude oil imports from the UAE in February 2016 stood at 21.8 million barrels, accounting for 26.8 percent of the Japan's total crude imports for the month, said the Japanese Agency for Natural Resources and Energy (JANRE).
JANRE said 32 percent of Japan's oil imports in February came Saudi Arabia, 11.6 percent from Qatar, 8.1 percent from Kuwait and 6.9 percent from Iran.
In February, Japan imported 100.4 million barrels of crude oil, of which around 75 percent came from Arab countries.
