Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, deputy minister of petroleum and mineral resources, met in Riyadh Thursday with Indian Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
During the meeting, they discussed the global oil market situation and Saudi Arabia’s evident role in achieving stability in oil markets, SPA reported.
It said they also reviewed bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the fields of energy.
They also discussed ways of increasing of Indian purchases of petroleum and petroleum products as well as joint investments in this field. The two sides discussed environmental issues and the importance of continuation of distinguished cooperation between the two countries in this field and at international meetings.
A number of officials attended the meeting.
