Al-Azhar Undersecretary Abbas Shoman took part in the ethnic and humanitarian forum on divine religions held Tuesday in Vatican, attended by Pope Francis II of Vatican.
The forum aimed at ending all kinds of slavery such as human and organ trafficking and exploiting children, Egypt's Ambassador to Vatican Wafaa Basim told MENA.
In his word on behalf of Al-Azhar Grand Imam Ahmad el-Tayyeb, Shoman rejected all types of racism and slavery.
Shoman also said that Islam does not discriminate between humans on the bases of race, gender or color.
